The EPC C2D family was designed with particular focus on operability and handling in a maritime environment. The displays are dimmable to zero which is easily done via front buttons or remotely via serial, USB or LAN interface. Specialized industrial components, e.g. for storage media and cooling systems, considerably increase the robustness and system availability compared to COTS devices.
